  PARKS MANAGEMENT & OPERATION DIVISION
-INTRODUCTION
 
 
This division is for the purpose to ensure the biodiversity, ecosystem and Parks function protected, preserve and manage with holistic method in management and operation, professional and international.

Function:

  1. Provide recommendations on the direction of park management and park operations, and perform the same direction that was agreed by the Director of Parks and approved by the Board of Trustees of Sabah Parks.
     
  2. Preparing Strategy and Operations Management Park.
     
  3. Preparing Program Implementation and Monitoring Strategy and Operations Management Park.
     
  4. Monitor the parks strategy of implementation and Operations Management.
     
  5. Coordinating the preparation of Plans or Program Management and Conservation, Protection and Enforcement, and park land use plan.
     
  6. Improving Strategic management and Park Operation with reference to the Park Effective Assessment Strategy Operations and Management Park.
     
  7. To establish and maintain a network of national and international levels of cooperation in relation to the Park Management and Operations.
     
  8. To ensure that the park management is in line with the policy of the State, National and International affairs of the protected area, park, nature, and the local indigenous population or community [local native (s) communities].
     
  9. To ensure and prepare the financial needs and sources for implementing management affairs and Parks operation are enough.
     
  10. Preparing Strategic Increasing Capacity Planning of human resource management and parks operation.
     
  11. Provide Involvement Strategy and Operations Management Park in relation to international programs (ie, UNESCO) as "World Heritage Sites / World Heritage Site", "Global Network GeoTaman / Global Geopark Network", and "Man and Biosphere Reserve / Man and Biosphere Reserve" , and "Web Protect Marine Areas / Marine Protected Area Network."
