RESEARCH & EDUCATION DIVISION - INTERPRETATIVE UNIT

The Interpretative and education unit is the unit that responsible in preparing and implementating interpretation program and education to visitors and community around the park areas regarding with the activity and nature conservation that has conducted by Sabah Parks. Activities carried out through a series of daily programs, educational travel, information centers and exhibition posters.

Function

To present information to park visitors relate with ecology, flora and fauna especially native species such as endemic and threatened
through park interpretation program.
To prepare nature base educational to public and especially to school students.
To present rational and the purpose of parks existance to public and especially to residents around the border of parks.
To present information through speech in relate to the park policy and parks legislation provisions and approaches taken.
Spread park research result to the public in form that easy to understand.
Preparing and handling public visitors center such as exhibition gallery and auditorium.
Handle outdoor exhibition which accompanied by park also.
Manage and expand photography and video collection.
