- GIS UNIT (Geographic Information Systems)
 

Unit Geographic Information Systems (GIS Unit) was established in 2002 and is one of the units in the Research & Education Division, Sabah Parks. This unit will focus on the aspects of data management and geographic information and mapping activity areas of Sabah Parks.

Function

  • Collect, manage, develop and update the data and geographic information Sabah Parks.
  • Produce scaled map for the areas within Sabah Parks.
  • Assist other units in the Research and Education and Management Division of Parks & Enforcement in activities involving the mapping work.
